Wearable, Flag-Shape Microstrip Antenna with Slot in the Ground Plane for Medical Devices

This work validates a wideband antenna that can be worn for medical telematics. The flag-shaped constructed of the RT-duroid material with modified ground is 34 mm by 22 0.8 mm. In order to increase operational bandwidth and decrease resonant frequency typical rectangular patch, slots are added partial plane. Providing an impedance (-10dB) 200 MHz, design works at 2.48 GHz. suggested retains high efficiency (93% 2.49 GHz) gain (2.50 dBi). High efficiency, moderate gain, simple primary contributions.
